Broken fencing has association with neglected and slightly sinister corners and waste land. The wire fences are double layers but there is a way through. Has something broken out or is it a way in? The tree guards were originally to protect trees from livestock, but over time the metal has broken and become consumed by the tree growth. At the same time, the fencing has caused the trunk to become contorted and disfigured.
